Hot Cross Buns Ingredients 5 cups bread flour 1/2 cup sugar 5 tsp yeast 1 tbsp cinnamon 1/2 tbsp black pepper 1/2 tbsp cardamom 1/2tbsp cloves 1/2 tbsp ginger 1/2 tbsp nutmeg 2 cups warm (almond) milk 3 tbsp coconut oil (or margarine, or butter) 1.5 cups mixed dried fruit or raisins 1.5 cups fruit juice Method  Soak fruit overnight in juice. Mix together the dry ingredients. Melt together butter and milk, and add to dry ingredients. Add fruit and stir well. Knead until elastic, and rise in bowl. Preheat oven to 180C / 350F. Form into buns and make crosses with a mixture of flour and water. Bake until they sound hollow.
