Yorkshire Pudding
Ingredients
- 2 cups plain flour
- 1.5 cups milk
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1.5 tbsp shortening
- pinch of salt
Method
- Mix flour and salt.
- Add eggs, shortening, and 1 cup of milk, and mix well.
- Add the rest of the milk and mix until smooth.
- Rest batter overnight.
- Preheat oven to 230C / 450F.
- Whisk again and fill each mould 3/4 full.
- Bake 10-15 minutes and serve quickly.
